Hanayomi is built from these open dictionary sources. The data has been converted, merged, and augmented (e.g. Portuguese glosses and example sentences); changes were made from the originals. Each source is used under its own license, linked below.

This site uses the JMdict/EDICT and KANJIDIC dictionary files. These files are the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group, and are used in conformance with the Group's licence.
